SockHack: Design, Remix, Collaborate
Submit original concepts and collaborate in an open creative lab built for sock lovers, designers, and innovators. Share patterns, colorways, and functional upgrades—fit, cushioning, compression, grip, and breathability—then help shape what moves forward through feedback and community input. We’ll take the strongest ideas into prototype testing, refine the details, and turn select concepts into limited-edition Sock Bandits drops.
Submit Designs
Send us your patterns, colorways, and functional upgrades—then help shape what moves forward.
Patterns & Graphics + Colorways
Share your visual direction—motifs, themes, icons, typography, stripes, or bold graphics—plus the color palette to match. Upload sketches or references, describe the vibe (clean, loud, minimal, seasonal), and add color notes (hex codes welcome, but not required).
Functional Upgrades + Inspiration
Suggest performance improvements like fit, cushioning, compression, grip, breathability, and durability zones. If you have examples, upload photos/links or describe what you wish socks did better—this helps us turn ideas into test-ready concepts faster.
Use Cases
Tell us where these socks will be worn—work, athletic, casual, dress, outdoor, or uniform use. Include any context that matters (type of shoes, surfaces, climate, hours on-foot) so we can design for real life.
How It Works
Send us your patterns, colorways, and functional upgrades.
First Feedback (Inner Circle)

ather broader feedback from the Sock Bandits community to help shape what moves forward.
Submit
Share a sock concept (pattern, colorway, motif, or feature upgrade).
Prototype Testing (Innovation Sock Lab)
Top ideas move into real-world wear testing through the Innovation Sock Lab.
Limited Drop (Sock Shop)
Select concepts become limited-edition releases available for purchase in the Sock Shop.
SockHack Guidelines
Keep it original
Submit ideas you created or have permission to use. If you’re inspired by something, credit the source and make it meaningfully different.
Be clear and specific
Include the basics: concept name, theme, intended use case (work/athletic/casual/dress/outdoor), and what makes it unique. Add references or sketches if you can.
Include color + pattern direction
Share your colorway (names or hex codes) and pattern/graphic notes (motifs, placement, vibe). If you don’t have exact colors, references are fine.
Functional upgrades are welcome
Call out improvements you want to see: fit, cushioning, compression, grip, breathability, durability zones, or seam comfort. Explain the “why” (what problem it solves).
Design within real-world limits
Some details may need adjustment for manufacturing (thread counts, placement, complexity). We’ll refine concepts to keep them wearable and producible.
Collaboration is the point
Expect feedback and iteration. Other contributors may suggest improvements—stay open, keep it constructive, and build the idea together.
Credit matters
We recognize meaningful contributors as ideas evolve. If multiple people shape a concept, we’ll acknowledge the collaboration when it moves forward.
Respect the community
No hate, harassment, or inappropriate content. Keep submissions and feedback respectful and inclusive.
Keep personal info out
Don’t share private information (yours or anyone else’s) in submissions, comments, or uploads.
What happens next
Ideas move through: Inner Circle feedback → Sock Bandits community input → Prototype testing (Innovation Sock Lab) → Select concepts become limited drops in the Sock Shop.
